Description Echium Pininana ‘Snow Tower’, 3L plants Family Boraginaceae Originating from Canary Islands Forms an enormous rosette of huge, hairy leaves in it’s first year which in itself adds great architectural impact to a border. In it’s second year the gargantuan flower spike, for which it is famed, thrusts skywards up to 5m and is covered in tiny white flowers (and bees). It’s a biennial so won’t survive after flowering but it will self seed prolifically. Our Echium Pininana ‘Snow Tower’ 3L plants will grow vigorously in well-drained soil in full sun, surviving outdoors in mild winters in southern and coastal locations.
